Technology and Distance Learning Symposium 2015

The OTAN Technology and Distance Learning Symposium 2015 (TDLS) is happening today and tomorrow (March 13-14) in San Leandro. If you are not one of the 200 lucky registrants who are currently attending the symposium, you can still follow what is being shared with your colleagues.

Registration for the Symposium is closed, and there is no on-site registration, but OTAN has reserved the Twitter hashtag #tdls15 External link opens in new window or tab for symposium attendees to use to post live tweets. TDLS tweets will also use the hashtags #edtech External link opens in new window or tab, and #adultedu External link opens in new window or tab. Simply follow these hashtags for Symposium updates, or if you prefer using Facebook, you may "like" OTAN External link opens in new window or tab for periodic timeline updates.

Handouts and videos from previous symposiums are also available. This is a great way to get your professional development regarding implementing distance, blended, online instruction, as well as integrating technology in the classroom. Visit the links below for the previous TDLS events in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2014 to download the materials.

A few weeks following this year's TDLS, presenters will have uploaded handouts and resources from the current symposium. Be sure to bookmark and check the TDLS Web site to download these new presentations. There will also be videos of the TDLS presentations.

And without doubt, you will enjoy viewing the recording of our keynote by Merve Lapus of Common Sense Media Education External link opens in new window or tab about Digital Literacy and Citizenship for Adult Learners and Their K12 Students.

Finally, check the OTAN Web site or follow OTAN on Twitter External link opens in new window or tab for the date and location of next year's event.
