On June 1, 2015, Kimbery Beltran posted an article about adult education funding titled "Call for adult ed providers to work collectively ". The author talks about the California Adult Education Plan for 15-16 as a transition year from WIA to WIOA. Also covered is the newly released state budget proposal.
The article concludes with the statement that "the federal funds may also be used for professional development activities and program upgrades, including technology that provides for distance learning as well."
