ABOUT OTAN TRAINING: Workshop Descriptions

Workshop title Interactive Quizzing with PowerPoint - Part 2 
Workshop description

In this Part 2 workshop on using PowerPoint® to create interactive quizzes using hyperlinks and triggers we will create a PowerPoint using triggers. In order to attend the second part you must have attended the Part 1 workshop. I will once again be demonstrating using PowerPoint 2010 for the PC, but you can also complete the practice file using the 2007 version. Sorry to the Mac users, but triggers are not available on your version.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of PowerPoint 2010® (or 2007). Must have the software and know how to add and select text boxes. You should also know how to move between the Adobe Connect window and the PowerPoint® program if you wish to participate in the hands on portion of the workshop.

 
Session length 1.5 hours 
Format Workshops: Synchronous online trainings, or series of trainings, in which facilitator and participants interact by voice or chat.

Minimum System Requirements for Participating in Online Workshops:

  • Broadband Internet connection (DSL, Cable modem or faster, no dial-up).
  • Computer with speakers or headphones (some classes require microphones too).
  • Active e-mail account through registration for the course as an OTAN member.
  • Some workshops have other special requirements, please read the workshop descriptions carefully.
