ABOUT OTAN TRAINING: Workshop Descriptions
|Workshop title||Moodle v2: Adding Audio in Your Course (New!)|
Would you like to use audio in your online course to deliver content, directions, and feedback to your learners? Would you like to have your learners use audio to complete assignments, post to forums, and more? Join us in this new workshop to see the features of the newly installed Moodle module PoodLL®. With this new addition, you and your learners will have engaging new options to enhance your online course.
Prerequisites: Participants must be an editing teacher in a Moodle course located on OTAN's Moodle server in order to integrate the PoodLL® resources. Participants should have completed the Moodle v2: Create a Course Web Site workshop prior to this online workshop (or its equivalent).
Important Note: This workshop is based on a specialized plugin that has been added to OTAN's Moodle server. Not all Moodle servers will have this particular feature.

|Format||Workshops: Synchronous online trainings, or series of trainings, in which facilitator and participants interact by voice or chat.|

Minimum System Requirements for Participating in Online Workshops:
- Broadband Internet connection (DSL, Cable modem or faster, no dial-up).
- Computer with speakers or headphones (some classes require microphones too).
- Active e-mail account through registration for the course as an OTAN member.
